MELINIO TRANSIT
is seeking Independent Operators and small business-minded transportation professionals in the Austin area who want to grow with a professional NEMT platform. This opportunity is designed for individuals who want more than a traditional driving job and are interested in building their own transportation business while serving the community. As an Independent Operator, you will provide non-emergency medical transportation for passengers with mobility needs, safely transport riders to medical appointments and approved destinations, assist with wheelchairs and mobility devices, operate wheelchair-accessible vehicles, and deliver dependable, professional service. Requirements Must be 23 years of age or older Must have an active LLC or be willing to form one within 45 days . Guidance and support are available during setup. Must have a valid Texas driver's license Must have a minimum of 5 years of driving experience Must have an acceptable motor vehicle record Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen Must be comfortable assisting passengers with wheelchairs, walkers, and mobility devices Previous experience in NEMT, paratransit, caregiving, delivery, or professional driving is preferred
