EMS Placement Program $20.00 an Hour during Training with an increase to $22.00 once Certified Are you compassionate, dependable, and motivated? Richmond Ambulance Authority (RAA) is currently recruiting for EMS Cadets. The RAA Cadet Program is a full-time comprehensive training program, which will provide accepted attendees the opportunity to become certified Emergency Medical Technicians-Basic (EMT-B). RESPONSIBILITIES

: Complete a minimum of sixteen (16) hours of course material a week Succeed in completing all required tests and/or certificates Meet core competencies for completion of a fast-track program Conduct self in a professional manner and ensure high levels of customer service Maintain high standards for health, safety, welfare, and ethical behavior Adhere to all policies of agencies, institutional and regulatory bodies Follow directives set forth in the company's SOG manual and Employee Handbook

REQUIREMENTS

: High School graduate or GED certification At least 18 years old Valid Virginia Driver's License Acceptable motor vehicle record in compliance with company policy Successful completion of pre-employment screenings to include, drug screening, background check, and Physical Abilities Test (PAT)
