MINIMUM EDUCATION

High school graduate/GED required Graduate of IDPH or NREMT-P approved Paramedic program with Illinois Department of Public Health EMT-P certification. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification must be obtained within 1 year of hire International Trauma Life Support certification

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE

Minimum two years of experience in Emergency Medical Services or Hospital Emergency Department setting Completion of trauma orientation

Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic license Basic Life Support (BLS) through AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through
