As a Patient Care Technician (PCT) in the Emergency Department at Deaconess Gateway, you'll be an essential member of a multidisciplinary team that delivers compassionate, high-quality care to patients with a wide range of medical needs. What You'll Do Working under the direction of a Registered Nurse, you'll provide direct patient care and support services that contribute to patient comfort, safety, and positive outcomes.

Responsibilities include:

Assisting patients with personal care needs and activities of daily living Monitoring and documenting vital signs and patient observations Supporting patient comfort, safety, and mobility throughout their emergency department stay Assisting with treatments, procedures, and basic life support activities as directed by the care team Communicating important patient observations and changes in condition to nursing staff Helping maintain efficient patient flow in a fast-paced emergency environment Upholding patient rights, dignity, and confidentiality in every interaction As a frontline caregiver, you'll play a key role in ensuring patients receive timely, compassionate care when they need it most.
