Job Description
We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for a 60-day assignment in Indiana, starting Oct 5, 2026. This inpatient role involves performing a range of critical procedures including endotracheal intubation, lumbar punctures, and moderate sedation. The client operates a trauma center, offering shifts from early mornings to late evenings with no on-call responsibilities, ensuring a balanced work schedule where providers typically manage 15-18 patients daily. Responsibilities and Duties Perform required procedures including Breast Cyst Aspiration, Central Venous pressure catheterization, Endotracheal intubation, Lumbar Puncture, Nasal Hemostatic Packing-Placement of Anterior & Posterior, Paracentesis, Suprapubic Bladder Aspiration, Thoracentesis, and moderate sedation. Work in a 100% inpatient setting, managing an average of 15-18 patients per day. Participate in a staffing model with 2-3 Physicians supported by a single
APP 24/7.
Provide care within a trauma center and a Comprehensive Stroke Center. No on-call duties are required. Additional Information Board Certification in Emergency Medicine is required. Experience with Epic EMR is preferred. A minimum of two years experience is required. A clear background is preferred.
