Job Description
Under the supervision of the manager (or designee) and according to established practices, performs patient care services (such as phlebotomy and 12 Lead EKGs), assists the medical and nursing staff with patient visits and procedures. Assists nursing personnel in maintaining efficient and effective departmental patient flow by maintaining records, inventories and charts related to patient care activities. Requires the level of knowledge ordinarily acquired through the completion of high school level course work. Ability to read, write, and spell. Registered Medical Assistant orEMT/ Paramedic license. BLS certification required. Must maintain and provide documentation of renewal of license or registration. Fundamental understanding of medical terminology and computer.
