Summary:
The Emergency Department Technician II - Franklin Hospital, role assists the healthcare team in the completion of specific patient care tasks. Upon successful completion of an IV course, performs IV's. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Education:
Completion of an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant OR completion of a National Registry EMT-B or EMT-A course, OR completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program with 160 hours of clinical experience required.
License/Certifications:
Current applicable state(s) license as a Certified Nursing Assistant required or EMT-B or EMT-A or Certified Medical Assistant. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.

Basic computer skills and knowledge of medical terminology. Training in phlebotomy and performing EKG's. Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
