• ) at the end of the bullet point. Obstetrics, Pediatrics, Medical, Surgical (inpatient/outpatient), Emergency, Senior Care, Nursery, Chemotherapy and Ambulance Transport as needed/delegated. Maintains certifications in all areas within scope of practice for LPNs, Paramedic, or EMT. Maintains documentation of cares provided to reflect current patient needs utilizing computerized documentation
• Performs with minimal supervision, exercises good judgment to reduce errors.
• Demonstrates willingness to work extra shifts if needed.
• Demonstrates a willingness to train new staff. Attends annual skills fair.
• Uses personal protective equipment that is appropriate for the given task.
• Reports accidents or incidents and safety hazards promptly.
• Cleans equipment, spills, etc. as necessary.
• Identifies needs, instructs others, and actively supports the role of patient advocate/liaison by communication and documentation of patient information to the proper resources/agencies.
• Performs functions for HUC, Registration when needed and makes phone calls as delegated from nurse.
