This role is primarily needed for Mondays and Wednesdays.

• Potential to assist in EVS on Tues/Thurs/Friday.
• Responsibilities Prepare and assemble endoscopic instruments and accessories according to manufacturer specifications and sterile processing protocols Reprocess endoscopes through meticulous cleaning, disinfection, sterilization, and maintenance procedures following established infection prevention standards Manage inventory levels of surgical instruments, supplies, and sterile equipment to ensure availability for scheduled procedures Assist healthcare providers with the setup and operation of medical equipment used during endoscopic procedures Maintain accurate documentation of sterilization cycles, instrument tracking, and decontamination processes Adhere strictly to aseptic techniques and infection control policies to prevent cross-contamination and ensure patient safety Support decontamination activities by thoroughly cleaning reusable medical devices in designated areas Requirements Proven experience in sterile processing, medical instrument assembly, packaging, or related healthcare roles Knowledge of anatomy relevant to endoscopic procedures and physiology principles essential for proper instrument handling Familiarity with medical terminology, surgical instrument sterilization, and endoscope reprocessing techniques Strong understanding of infection prevention management and healthcare infection control standards Ability to operate medical equipment safely and efficiently within a clinical setting Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to manage inventory effectively Certification or training in sterile processing or related fields is preferred but not mandatory; relevant on-the-job experience is highly valued This role is perfect for dedicated professionals passionate about maintaining the highest standards of patient safety through expert instrument handling and infection control.
