13 Weeks Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior GI / Endoscopy Technician for an outpatient endoscopy center in Mission Hills, California. This role is ideal for a skilled endoscopy professional with strong procedural experience and the ability to work collaboratively in a high-volume GI procedural setting. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience supporting endoscopic procedures, maintaining procedural equipment, and assisting physicians and nursing staff within a fast-paced outpatient environment. Key Responsibilities Assist physicians during GI and endoscopic procedures Prepare procedure rooms, instruments, scopes, and equipment Perform back table setup and room preparation Support procedures including: Upper Endoscopies (EGD) Colonoscopies Polypectomies Biopsies PEG Placements Banding Balloon Dilations Bravo Procedures X-Track Procedures Perform high-level disinfection and reprocessing of procedural equipment Maintain patient safety and infection prevention standards Assist with specimen handling and procedural documentation Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and procedural staff to support efficient workflow Ensure proper care and maintenance of endoscopy equipment Requirements Minimum 3 years of Endoscopy Technician experience required Candidates must meet one of the following: SGNA education/program completion; OR Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with Endoscopy experience Current BLS Certification required First-time travelers not accepted Strong GI procedural and equipment handling experience required Required Equipment & Procedure Experience Candidates should have experience with: Colonoscopes EGD Scopes
