Job Summary Join our dynamic healthcare team as an Endoscopy Technician, where you will play a vital role in supporting diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures. Your expertise will ensure the highest standards of patient care, safety, and infection prevention. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with medical professionals in a fast-paced environment, utilizing your technical proficiency and knowledge of gastroenterology to enhance patient outcomes. As an integral part of the endoscopy team, you will prepare equipment, assist during procedures, and maintain a sterile environment to facilitate accurate diagnosis and treatment. Duties Prepare endoscopic equipment and supplies, ensuring all instruments are properly sterilized and functioning correctly before procedures. Assist physicians during endoscopic procedures. Maintain strict aseptic technique throughout all procedures to prevent infection and ensure patient safety. Reprocess endoscopes according to established protocols, including cleaning, disinfecting, and storage procedures. Skills Strong knowledge of gastroenterology procedures and endoscopic surgical techniques. Proficiency in endoscope reprocessing and sterilization methods. Excellent understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to the gastrointestinal system. Ability to assist with colonoscopy procedures and other endoscopic interventions effectively. Knowledge of medical imaging technology used during endoscopic assessments. Skilled in maintaining aseptic technique to uphold infection control standards. Capable of providing compassionate patient care while supporting diagnostic evaluation processes. Pay:
$19.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 8.0 - 10.0 per week
