Endoscopy Technologist Responsibilities:
Performs direct and indirect patient care tasks . Assists with admissions, discharges and transfers of patients within the endoscopy suite , holding, and recovery areas. Orients patients and significant others to the unit . Maintains environment by cleaning and storing equipment, disposing of linens, and stocking supplies Keeps patient areas clear of trash and clutter, cleans, disinfects and sterilizes endoscopy equipment and stretchers On-call, weekend and perform other duties as assigned. Demonstrates interpersonal and critical thinking skills. Must have computer, written and verbal communication skills appropriate to the position Show strong organizational, customer service, time management, administrative, and clerical skillsCertification:
Required- BLS (Basic Life Support)
Education:
RequiredHigh School or Equivalent Experience:
Preferred- 1 year
