The chosen candidate will assist the endoscopy team during endoscopy procedures. Arranges and inventories sterile set-up for operation, and passes items as needed to the endoscopy team. Assists in preparing and moving patients, and in cleaning the endoscopy room. The Endo Tech is responsible for the provision of care to meet identified patient outcomes and to achieve the goals of the facility as directed by the Director of Nursing. Provides a centralized distribution and control of supplies and equipment to the facility. In charge of shipping and receiving, stores prepared articles and supplies in designated areas. Maintains and tracks inventory according to facility procedures Responsibilities
  • Prepare endoscopy equipment and examination rooms for procedures
  • Assist physicians and nurses during endoscopic examinations
  • Monitor patient vital signs and comfort during procedures
  • Clean and sterilize endoscopic equipment after each use
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and aseptic techniques
  • Assist in preop and post op as needed Qualifications
  • Proficiency in aseptic technique for endoscopic procedures
  • Knowledge of diagnostic evaluation techniques related to endoscopy
  • Familiarity with medical imaging used in endoscopy
  • Understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
  • Certification or training as an Endoscopy Technician is preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Pay:
$20.00
  • $22.
00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
