Make a Difference The Endoscopy Technician provides service and support before, during and after endoscopic procedures. Ensures the presence and proper arrangement of equipment and supplies in the endoscopy room prior to each procedure, cleans the endoscope after the procedure and expedites room turnover. Provides basic care and some diagnostic tests. Responsible for maintaining the endoscopic equipment and maintaining supply inventory. Assists with the restocking of all areas of Indianapolis Endoscopy Center. Assists with medical records filing and business office needs as requested (assembling patient charts/filing). Maintains a safe and impeccably clean environment in the instrument processing area. Under the direction of an RN, assists with patient care in the Admit/Recovery Room. Some of these duties include, but are not limited to: Giving patients drinks when ready. Assisting patients to the bathroom and with dressing. Escorting patients to cars. Assisting with positioning patients. Cleaning equipment regularly including carts, monitors, cords, and wheelchairs. Assisting with transportation of patients on carts to and from the Procedure Room. Exceptional Skills and Qualifications Applicants for this position should be able to collaborate with others in a team setting, have excellent communication skills, and a positive attitude toward problem-solving. High School Diploma or GED required 1 plus years endoscopy experience preferred 2 plus years hospital or healthcare experience in a clinical setting required CRCST or CST certification preferred a { text-decoration: none; color: #464feb; } tr th, tr td { border: 1px solid #e6e6e6; } tr th { background-color: #f5f5f5; } Why Community?
