Certified Endoscopy Technician•Evening Shift•$8,500 Sign-On Bonus We are hiring a Certified Endoscopy Technician for an evening-shift opportunity with a leading pediatric hospital in Boston. This is a six-month contract-to-hire position offering long-term career potential and a one-time $8,500 sign-on bonus following successful conversion to permanent employment . This is an excellent opportunity for a certified sterile processing professional with experience cleaning, decontaminating, inspecting, assembling, and preparing endoscopic equipment.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday 3:00 PM-11:30 PM Six-month contract-to-hire No overnight shift
What You'll Do:
Clean, decontaminate, inspect, assemble, sterilize, and prepare endoscopic equipment. Ensure equipment is ready and available for scheduled surgical procedures. Follow infection-prevention and high-level disinfection standards. Inspect scopes and related equipment for damage, cleanliness, and proper function. Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting. Coordinate equipment repairs and provide substitutions when necessary. Order, receive, restock, and rotate endoscopic supplies. Maintain accurate equipment, inventory, repair, and purchasing records. Assist clinical staff with the use of endoscopic and audiovisual equipment. Participate in equipment evaluations and department improvement projects.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED. Active CRCST or CSPDT certification. CER certification upon hire or ability to obtain it within one year. Strong attention to detail and knowledge of infection-prevention practices. Ability to work the 3:00 PM-11:30 PM schedule.
Preferred Experience:
Flexible endoscope reprocessing. Automated endoscope reprocessors. High-level disinfection and sterilization. Hospital sterile processing, operating room, or endoscopy department experience.
