About us Court Endoscopy Center of Frederick is a small business in Frederick, MD. Our goal is to give our endoscopy patients excellent care during their procedures.
Our work environment includes:
Safe work environment Lively atmosphere On-the-job training This is a dual job - your time would be split between our endoscopy center and our gastroentrology office. We are looking for an experienced and energetic Endoscopy Technician to join our team. We would consider the right candidate without endoscopy experience also. The ideal candidate for this position has strong interpersonal skills, a desire to learn, and a passion for patient care. Our one physician endoscopy center does procedures on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and one Saturday a month. This position is full-time. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is interested in making a difference in the lives of both patients and fellow team members. Must be a certified medical assistant.
Responsibilities:
Assisting physican and staff during gastrointestinal endoscopic procedures. Retrieve samples of tissue from the gastrointestinal tract during endoscopic procedures and log for the pathology lab. Re-processing/sterilize endoscopes and medical equipment. Restock and turnover/clean procedure room. At the Gastroenterology office, you would room patients for their appointments and take their vital signs. Our medical assistants also perform some front desk duties, such as answering phones, making appointments, checking patients out. Other duties would include performing perscription prior authorizations, pulling labs, x-rays, hospital records from the appropriate source.
Pay:
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 45.0 per week
