Technician Johns Hopkins Medical Management Corporation Lutherville, MD Job Details Temporary | Per diem $33 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications BLS Certification Full Job Description Johns Hopkins Intrastaff , the internal staffing agency for Johns Hopkins Health System and its partner hospitals, is seeking skilled and dependable GI Technicians for per diem opportunities at Johns Hopkins Surgery Centers throughout the Baltimore metropolitan area. This role offers the flexibility of per diem employment while providing the opportunity to work alongside leading physicians and clinical staff in a state-of-the-art ambulatory surgery environment. As a member of the endoscopy and special procedures team, you will play a vital role in supporting high-quality patient care during a variety of GI and specialty procedures. Why Join Johns Hopkins? Johns Hopkins Surgery Centers (multiple locations throughout the Baltimore area)

As Needed Payrate:
$33/hr Assist with endoscopic, manometry, and other special procedures. Prepare procedure rooms by assembling and testing equipment, instruments, and supplies. Support physicians during procedures by passing instruments and utilizing endoscopy accessories such as biopsy forceps and snares. Assist with medication and solution identification and labeling in collaboration with the registered nurse. Ensure proper identification, handling, and transport of patient specimens according to policy and procedure. Perform procedure room turnover, including instrument cleaning, decontamination, equipment care, waste disposal, and restocking supplies. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe procedural environment. High School Diploma, GED, Certificate of Completion, or equivalent required. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required. Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a clinical acute care setting preferred. Previous endoscopy or procedural area experience of 1 year or more; with 3 years being preferred Johns Hopkins Health System and its affiliates are an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employers.
