Summary:

The Endoscopy Technician II role assists the physician/advanced practice practitioner directly with technical aspects of endoscopy procedures (biopsies, wire manipulation, polyp removals, etc.). Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

SGNA Associates Module Certificate of completion and passing score required.

Experience:

One year of experience as an Endoscopy Technician level 1 required. Competent in ERCP, which includes using highly specialized scopes, imaging equipment, wires, balloons, etc. required. Demonstrates competency in all essential functions of an Endoscopy Technician I role.
