Job Description
Endoscopy Technician Provides appropriate pre
- intra
- and post-procedure care under the direct supervision of a registered nurse. Assists the physician while performing endoscopic procedures, including obtaining tissue biopsies. Maintains endoscopes and all accessories in working order and provides preventative maintenance .
- High School Diploma or equivalent required, Associates degree preferred
- Previous healthcare experience preferred
- Ability to maintain cooperative working relationships
- Organizational skills
- BLS required
- Ability to greet and serve visitors in a manner conducive to positive customer relations
- Demonstrates effective communication skills with physicians and ancillary departments
