Specialties include GI/Endoscopy, podiatry, ENT, and pain management. We are seeking a Part-Time Endoscopy / GI Technician to join our team! This position includes duties such as: Assisting physicians during endoscopy procedures, under the direct supervision of the physician and registered nurse Effectively setup, breakdown, and turnover procedure rooms Efficiently maintain supply stock in rooms, ensure instruments/supplies are available as needed, and maintain responsibility for managing inventory for the ASC Effectively oversee the care and maintenance of endoscopy equipment and other patient care equipment Promotes safety of patients, co-workers and self through practice of standard precautions Assist in the cleaning, disinfection and reprocessing of endoscopes and accessory equipment Performance of other duties, as assigned Ideal candidate should possess the following qualities: Punctual and reliable Organized, detail-orientated and proactive Effective communication skills Flexibility Good team player Commitment to providing excellent patient service and professionalism Computer skills (experience with ProVation a plus)

Hours :

Part-time :

3 shifts per week Typical schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday; however, flexibility is required based on the procedural schedule

Hours of Operation:

Monday-Friday No weekends, holidays, or call responsibilities Opportunity to transition to a full-time position as procedural volume grows

Requirements:

Previous work experience as endoscopy technician highly preferred BLS Certification High school diploma or GED certificate

Preferred Skills:

Endoscope Reprocessing Certification Potential candidates may expect an initial phone interview.

Pay:
