Description Summary:
Assists with the coordination of care for patients in the endoscopy department. Responsible for the preparation, maintenance, and cleaning of equipment and supplies and may assist in performing invasive endoscopic procedures.

Competencies:
Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
Provides various service related activities to the delivery of direct and assistive patient care in the endoscopy service of the operating room prior to and during any endoscopic procedure.
Required to rotate shifts and accept on-call assignments.
Adept at establishing and maintaining sterile fields, ability to pull cases, capable in assisting for endoscopy procedures.
Knowledge of sterilization concepts and methods, aseptic techniques and endoscopy instruments.
Job Requirements:
Education/Skills High School Diploma or equivalent preferred Experience Previous experience working in the Operating Room or Endoscopy Unit preferred
GI Tech experience preferred Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications BLS required
GI certification from SGNA Associates preferred

MULTIPLE SHIFTS AVAILABLE
