Summary:
We are seeking a full time Endoscope Reprocessing Technician to work in our Nursing - Endoscopy department. The Endoscope Reprocessing Technician handles and processes instruments/scopes in accordance with various regulatory agencies' regulations and Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center policies and procedures; inspects and ensures that all scopes are in proper working order; provides quality assurance through performance of periodic endoscope testing; adheres to strict infection control standards with respect to endoscope and endoscope accessory processing; occasionally transports specimens and supplies as delegated by a Registered Nurse; performs endoscopy room floor mopping/disinfection after contaminated cases; maintains general unit supplies. Starting hourly rate is $19.37 which includes a comprehensive benefits package.
Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and the equivalent of three (3) years of full-time experience performing high-level disinfection of endoscopes and other Endoscopy Suite equipment.

Degrees must be conferred by an accredited school, college, or university, or by an institution recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center and/or Health Research Incorporated as adhering to acceptable educational standards.
