Category Imaging - Endo Tech Job Type Contract A highly skilled Endoscopy Technician is needed for a 13-week assignment supporting a dynamic imaging department. In this vital role, you will put your expertise to work assisting with endoscopic procedures, preparing and cleaning equipment, and ensuring a safe environment for patients and physicians.
Schedule/Hours:
7:00am - 3:00pm shift
Key Qualifications:
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required Prior experience as an Endoscopy Technician, with proven competency in scrubbing endoscopy cases Proficiency cleaning and maintaining endoscopic scopes and related equipment Comfortable taking on-call duties as scheduled Outstanding attention to detail, infection control standards, and sterile technique Strong communication and collaboration skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Prepare rooms and supplies for endoscopic procedures, ensuring proper setup and function of all equipment Scrub cases alongside physicians, adhering strictly to sterile protocols Clean, disinfect, and properly store endoscopes and accessories in compliance with facility and regulatory standards Respond to on-call needs to provide endoscopy support during off-hours as required Follow all departmental quality control, safety, and documentation guidelines Deliver compassionate, efficient support to patients and clinical staff alike This is a great opportunity to further your career in a well-supported and collaborative environment.
