Main Line Endoscopy Centers are outpatient, AAAHC-accredited facilities specializing in colonoscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy, and upper endoscopy. We are dedicated to providing safe, high-quality, patient-centered care in a compassionate and unrushed environment. Our experienced, board-certified physicians have been serving the Malvern communities with excellence and professionalism for many years.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a Full-Time Endoscopy Technician to join our highly engaged clinical team. This role supports physicians and nursing staff by preparing procedure rooms, managing equipment, and contributing to efficient, safe patient care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate works collaboratively, communicates effectively, and provides reliable technical support throughout the endoscopic procedure process.
Major Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the healthcare team to prepare procedure rooms and set up endoscopic equipment and supplies based on the needs of the patient, physician, and procedure. Ensure all instruments and equipment are properly assembled, functioning, and available. Verify and document high-level disinfection and/or sterility of instruments in accordance with established policies and procedures. Handle and process tissue specimens accurately and safely following all guidelines. Maintain supply and inventory levels, including ordering, restocking, and tracking equipment. Perform housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe work environment. Utilize Provation Apex to support accurate documentation and scope tracking. Travel between endoscopy sites (Malvern and Broomall) as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required. Two years of Endoscopy experience preferred. CER certification a plus Knowledge of endoscope reprocessing standards and infection control practices preferred. Experience with Provation Apex or similar clinical documentation systems is a plus. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment. Ability to work cooperatively with physicians, nurses, and fellow staff members.
