The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in assisting with endoscopic procedures, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining a clean environment. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology, along with the ability to assist the endoscopist. Responsibilities Prepare and maintain endoscopic equipment and instruments for procedures. Assist physicians during endoscopic examinations by providing necessary tools and support. Ensure all equipment is properly sterilized and adheres to aseptic techniques. Monitor patient comfort and safety throughout the procedure. Document procedures accurately in accordance with medical standards. Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure seamless patient care before, during, and after procedures. Maintain an organized work area, ensuring compliance with health regulations. Qualifications Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy relevant to endoscopic procedures. Familiarity with medical terminology related to diagnostics and imaging. Experience or training in aseptic techniques is essential. Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations effectively. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment. Experience as an Endoscopy Technician is required.
