Work Schedule :
\n\nPart-time, 10% FTE, day shift Monday
  • Friday working 8-hour shifts between the hours of 6:45am
  • 5:30pm, no weekend or holiday rotation required.\n\nHours may vary based on operational needs of department.\n\nBe part of something remarkable\n\nJoin the #1 hospital in Wisconsin!\n\nWe are seeking an Endoscopy Technician to:\n \n\n
  • Assist physicians or other providers with procedures performed in the gastroenterology endoscopy setting.\n \n\n
  • Prepare and position patients for procedures, assisting providers during endoscopy, including biopsy specimen collection, and polypectomy.\n \n\n
  • Restock procedure room supplies and monitor supply PAR levels.\n \n\n
  • Troubleshoot all specialty equipment.\n \n\n
  • Adherence to strict infection control practices and use of personal protective equipment.\n\nAt UW Health, you will have :\n \n\n

  • High School Diploma or equivalent Required\n \n\n
  • Formal training or experience in medical specialty (i.e.\n\nLPN, MA, Advanced Nursing Assistant) Preferred\n\nWork Experience\n\n \n\n
  • 1 year of experience in a clinical setting (or) Preferred\n \n\n
  • 1 year of experience assisting in GI or pulmonary medical procedures Preferred\n \n\n
  • Basic cardiac monitoring experience Preferred\n\nLicenses & Certifications\n\n \n\n
