This is a 12 months assignment with a possible extension.

Responsibilities:

Ability to lift patients using appropriate biomechanical techniques frequently throughout the course of a work day/shift; must be capable of easily lifting fifty (50) pounds dead weight alone. Ability to walk, bend, stand and reach constantly during a work day/shift. Visual acuity (near and distant) sufficient to evaluate, diagnose and monitor patient needs and to maintain accurate records, recognize people and provide directions. Ability to speak and hear sufficiently to understand and give directions. Ability to push wheeled equipment through the facility and in the community. Possess fine motor skills for legible and accurate writing of reports, charting, scheduling, daily correspondence and presentations, either manually or through use of dictation equipment. Possess fine motor skills for effective and efficient handling of diagnostic or therapeutic equipment.

Qualifications:

BS Degree in exercise science/kinesiology/exercise physiology. 2+ years experience, industrial setting experience a plus. Non-Expired Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification

REQUIRED.

Excellent written and oral communication skills. Position requires a strong knowledge of musculoskeletal injury assessment and prevention interventions.

Schedule:

This is a 40 hour per week position, with a schedule that remains TBD. There is a possibility of four 10hr shifts per week or five 8hr shifts per week. Schedule is currently TBD. Night, evening and weekend WORK will be required; and may not be consistent from week to week.

Pay:

$35/hr
