Job Description

Exercise Technician Location:
3425 S Clarkson St, Englewood, CO 80113. Mon-Fri 8AM-4:30PM.
Salary Pay Range:
$18.65/ Hour - $26.86/
Hour Application Deadline:

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Exercise Technician is responsible for assisting the physical therapists in implementing therapeutic exercise, restorative therapy interventions, and wellness interventions for persons with neurologic disabilities. This position is responsible for maintaining a clean and therapeutic clinic environment, day-to-day functions and processes of the Craig Hospital Physical Therapy Department. This person will work closely with outpatient therapists and the patients of Craig Hospital, providing excellent customer service and creating a culture of wellness.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Licensure/Certification/Registrations:
BLS for the Healthcare Provider from the American Heart Association.
Education:
High school graduate preferred.
Experience:
Experience with neurologic population preferred.

Possess strong interpersonal skills; Demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate, problem solve, and adapt to a fast changing environment with competence. Possess a dedication to teamwork and commitment to excellence. Possess a talent for mastering fitness equipment/technology and providing this education to patients and staff. Possess the ability to apply strong clinical foundation of physical fitness as well as integrating appropriate educational concepts for persons with neurologic disabilities into community health and wellness program. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Highly motivated with a positive attitude.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Under the guidance and direction of the Health & Wellness Coordinator, provide 1:1 strength training and fitness training sessions with persons who have neurologic disabilities Participate in the daily operations of the wellness facility including but not limited to open/closing procedures, answering phones, scheduling appointments, making copies, filling, and assist with conducting wellness center orientations. Assist with daily, weekly, monthly, cleaning duties as assigned including proactively addressing issues regarding facility cleanliness Support physical therapists and exercise specialists in performing treatments interventions to adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. Obtain and assemble equipment as requested by the therapists and exercise specialists. Communicate daily with the physical therapists and exercise specialists regarding issues relating to the interaction of clients in the wellness center. •This job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties.
