Westminster, CO Job Details Part-time | Full-time | Contract $50 - $75 an hour 17 hours ago Qualifications Exercise Science Anatomy knowledge Strength training instruction Physical fitness training Personal training Individual fitness sessions Body mechanics Bachelor's degree in exercise science Full Job Description Job Overview Looking for an experienced and compassionate Adaptive Exercise Trainer that will be working with clients that have spinal cord injuries and other neurological impairments. In this role, you will provide in-home coaching through a developed personalized exercise program tailored to each client's unique needs. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on clients' lives while developing highly transferable, specialized training skills. Responsibilities Driving to and from clients homes to conduct personalized training Conduct physical training that aligns with their capabilities, limitations, and goals Educate clients on proper exercise techniques, safety protocols, and injury prevention strategies Collaborate with other health care professionals to optimize client outcomes Monitor progress regularly, adjusting programs as needed to ensure continuous improvement and safety Foster a positive, motivating environment that builds client confidence and engagement Safely lift at least 70 lbs and assist with transferring clients in and out of wheelchairs and equipment Be able to obtain your own training liability insurance and have a working and reliable vehicle. Experience Demonstrated knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and body mechanics essential for designing safe exercise routines Experience in personal training, adaptive exercise or training in a clinical setting Knowledgable in exercise adaptation for diverse populations with varying abilities or rehabilitation needs Proven ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and motivate clients of all ages and skill levels Preferred Requirements Bachelors degree in exercise science or related field Prior experience working with special populations or individuals requiring adaptive exercise modifications Certification in personal training or related fields (e.g., NASM
CPT, ACE
