JOB DESCRIPTION
Ensure unified action within USINDOPACOM and with supporting organizations to develop Interagency concepts of support to a Joint Training and Exercise Campaign Plan including Field Training Exercises (FTX), Command-Post Exercises (CPX), and training support activities and investments. These include but are not limited to the
ELITE CONSTELLATION
series Supports the J73 Exercise Division with subject matter expertise in Interagency & Policy matters. Duties include leading the POLMIL / Interagency (HICON) work group during joint exercise planning events as part of the JELC, development of the HICON exercise control response cell operating procedures and managing the HICON response cell (which includes role players) during exercise execution Additional duties include coordination with Interagency/POLMIL organizations to foster their participation in exercises and identify opportunities for shared benefit through their incorporation into the
INDOPACOM
exercises Support designated Organizations Conducting the Exercise (OCE) and the
USINDOPACOM J73
by maintaining a deliberate plan of action with milestones in addition to production of required orders, briefings, and planning deliverables Create solutions to complex problems and apply operational art in an uncertain geostrategic security environment to support an IA campaign that will support the

joint exercises Ensure coordination with staff and other organizations to include: Joint Interagency Coordination Group (JIACG), Joint Staff, Department of State, Department of Homeland Defense, Department of Commerce, and Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Develop, implement, and maintain efficient protocols, processes, and procedures in support of exercise interagency representation Support exercise work group planning meetings and In-Progress Reviews (IPRs) with senior leaders Respond to Requests for Information (RFIs) related to designated exercise Produce exercise orders or directives to facilitate guidance for exercise interagency planning Supports the
USINDOPACOM J7
with other duties as assigned within the scope as a Interagency / POLMIL subject matter expert International travel up to 30% of the year may be required to support the planning and execution of designated exercises Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelors and ten (10) years' of relevant experience; additional four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree Joint Professional Military Education (JPME) Phase I complete; two (2) years of experience on a joint operational/strategic headquarters staff accepted in lieu of JPME Phase I Knowledge of the Joint Exercise Life Cycle (JELC) and associated requirements to plan and execute Field Training Exercises (FTX) and Command-Post Exercises (CPX) Proven experience in an Interagency management role with oversight of projects and maintenance of timelines Experience in Interagency planning with US Armed Services, including joint assignments at the operational/strategic level and working with Allies and Partner countries Experience in planning and managing complex tasks under tight time constraints
REQUIRED CLEARANCE
Candidates must have an active TS/SCI clearance Must be a current US Citizen Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
