We are seeking an Injury Prevention Professional to join our team in Bath, Maine , in a well-established role that is highly valued by both employees and site leadership. In this position, you'll play a key role in supporting workplace health, safety, and injury prevention initiatives across the workforce.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week, 8 hour shifts scheduled between 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., with occasional flexibility to work later as needed. Supports the creation and implementation of programs focused on the prevention of work injuries, physical conditioning, and employee education and wellness. Key Accountabilities Conducts employee injury prevention programs, education, and training. Develops exercise programs specific to injury prevention and conditioning needs. Collects and document appropriate program data to support the ROI process. Develop, promote, and market wellness and general education programs. Supports employee healthcare teams with job function assessment, incident investigation and care management. Other duties as needed/assigned. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, Athletic Training, or Exercise Science or other related field required. Current Adult CPR/AED certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required. Personal Training certification from ACE, AFAA, ACSM, NASM, NETA or NSCA a plus. First Aid certification from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute preferred. Work experience in a clinical environment (occupational therapy, physical therapy, cardiac rehab, nursing) preferred. 2-3 years' experience in corporate based health and fitness program preferred. Understanding of Biomechanics, occupational safety and proficient in exercise prescription preferred. Applicants must meet hiring requirements including but not limited to pre-employment drug test.
Compensation:
$27.00-$29.00 per hour. Pay is dependent on experience and qualifications. The final wage offer will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant factors.
