This role is a key part of our diagnostic testing department, supporting physicians and clinical staff in delivering exceptional patient care. Short-Term Disability Paid Time Off Responsibilities:
Conduct exercise stress testing (GXT), stress echocardiograms, and nuclear stress testing in collaboration with supervising physicians and clinical staff. Monitor patients throughout testing procedures, recognizing and responding to abnormal responses as appropriate. Ensure safety protocols and best practices are consistently followed during all testing. Accurately document testing results and maintain detailed records in the patient's medical chart. Prepare patients for procedures by explaining testing protocols and providing reassurance and education. Assist with maintaining testing equipment and supplies. Collaborate with the cardiovascular team to ensure efficient and high-quality patient care.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology, Exercise Science, or related field required. Minimum of 2 years of experience performing GXT, stress echocardiograms, and nuclear stress testing in a clinical setting. ACLS and BLS certification required. Strong knowledge of cardiovascular physiology and testing protocols. Epic EMR experience preferred. Excellent communication skills with patients and medical staff. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with strong attention to detail.
