Job DescriptionHenry Ford Wyandotte Hospital is seeking a dedicated Clinical Exercise Physiologist to join our Cardiac Rehabilitation team. This is a meaningful opportunity to support patients as they regain strength, confidence, and long term health through safe, supervised exercise and lifestyle coaching. About the Role

In this role, you will evaluate patient readiness for exercise, lead clinic based exercise sessions, and administer exercise stress tests. You will review medical histories, monitor vital signs, interpret ECGs, and provide ongoing surveillance to ensure patient safety. As part of a collaborative care team, you will communicate with physicians, tailor exercise prescriptions, and guide patients in adopting sustainable lifestyle habits. You will support a variety of clinical programs, including Cardiac Rehabilitation, Pulmonary Rehabilitation, Supervised Exercise Therapy for Peripheral Artery Disease, and physical activity counseling within weight management and bariatric services. Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Bachelor's or graduate degree in exercise science/physiology or related field. Experience in a clinical exercise setting highly preferred.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED

American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for the healthcare provider. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 1 year of hire. American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) Clinical Exercise Physiologist (ACSM-CEP) certification is strongly preferred.
