We are an established outpatient physical therapy practice in Purchase, NY , looking for a motivated Exercise Physiologist/Kinesiologist to join our clinical team. This is NOT a cardiac rehabilitation position. Our practice primarily treats orthopedic conditions, musculoskeletal injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, and sports injuries. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with patients and wants to apply exercise science and movement principles to rehabilitation and performance. What You'll Do Work alongside Physical Therapists as part of our rehabilitation team Guide patients through therapeutic and strengthening exercises Assist with progressive exercise programs for orthopedic and sports injuries Monitor and progress patients' exercise programs based on their individual needs Educate patients on proper exercise technique, movement, and injury prevention Assist patients returning to recreational activities and sports Work with patients of varying ages and fitness levels Help maintain a positive, motivating, and professional treatment environment Communicate with Physical Therapists regarding patient progress and exercise tolerance Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who is: Passionate about exercise, fitness, movement, and rehabilitation Comfortable working one-on-one with patients Knowledgeable about strength training and exercise prescription Interested in orthopedic and sports rehabilitation Professional, energetic, personable, and dependable A strong communicator and team player Comfortable working in a hands-on outpatient clinical environment Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, Exercise Science, or a related field Experience in orthopedic rehabilitation, sports performance, personal training, strength & conditioning, or a clinical setting is a plus New graduates with strong exercise-science backgrounds are encouraged to apply CPR/AED certification preferred Why Join Us?
