Position Summary:

The incumbent shall be responsible for providing quality care to medical and surgical cardiovascular patients of cardiac rehab services by supporting the development and implementation of a comprehensive Cardiac Rehabilitation Phase I ‐ III program that involves the patient and family. The incumbent shall also demonstrate accountability for and contribution to program development, quality improvement, problem solving, and productivity enhancement in a flexible interdisciplinary manner.

Education, License & Cert:

The incumbent shall, at a minimum, be a graduate of an accredited four‐year bachelor's degree program in Exercise Physiology / Physical Education or related field. Current BLS certification is required.

Experience:

Education/experience in developing safe exercise prescription and education for the cardiac patients is preferred.

Meets established organizational productivity standards within a fiscally responsible manner. 5. Participates in performance improvement and quality related initiatives and uses data to improve quality of care delivered.
