Fast paced, large cardiology practice with multiple locations. The applicant should have 1 year minimum of cardiac experience. Certified Exercise Physiologist or eligible to take the exam within one year of hire.
JOB SUMMARY
Fast paced, large cardiology practice with multiple locations. The applicant should have 1 year minimum of cardiac experience. Certified Exercise Physiologist or eligible to take the exam within one year of hire. Candidate for this position will perform diagnostic cardiovascular stress testing Must have the ability to interpret and analyze exams, following protocols to provide a preliminary report of findings to the physician Will have an independent schedule and should be familiar with day-to-day operations. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
A Certification in Exercise Physiology, minimum Masters of Science Degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology. Minimum Basic ECG Interpretation Proficiency. Must be familiar with EMR and able to complete preliminary reports. Maintenance of BLS certification for Healthcare workers. Ability to read, write and communicate fluently in English. Compliant with HIPAA regulations.
Physical Demands:
May spend a great deal of their professional day walking, standing, moving and manipulating equipment, as well as lifting and moving objects, equipment and supplies. Ability to lift 20 pounds. Moving, lifting or transferring of patients or objects may involve lifting of up to 50 pounds, as well as assist with weights of more than one-hundred (100) pounds. Requires the ability to stand for extended periods of time, bend or twist their body, as well as visual acuity.
