Exercise Physiologist Samaritan Hospital- Troy Per Diem Position Highlights:

Strong orientation program, generous tuition allowance and career development What you will do: Provide direct patient care to individuals participating in the CardioPulmonary Rehab and Wellness programs at both Albany and Troy locations.
Responsibilities:
Participate in the development of individualized treatment plans. Provide patient education Develop and lead exercise classes Assist patients with equipment and ensure safety Assess and reassess patient to achieve both program and personal goals What you will need: Minimum of a bachelor's degree in exercise physiology, exercise science, or kinesiology. Preferred certification by the American Society of Exercise Physiologists.
ACSM-EP, ACSM
Certified Exercise Physiologist
ACSM-CEP, ACSM
Clinical Exercise Physiologist BLS, ACLS, and EKG interpretation certification required within 1 year of hire. Fun personality and strong desire to motivate others. Previous rehab experience preferred
Pay Range:
$24.60-$36.90 Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
