Job Description

The Role:

King Health Exercise Physiologist You will be engaged on a per-patient basis with a defined scope of work: conduct in-person physical assessments, deliver exercise protocol instruction, provide ongoing virtual coaching, and support patients through reviewing nutrition and fitness as prescribed in their personalized plan. The role includes the operation of diagnostic equipment but does not require specialized credentialing. Your role begins where the clinical workup ends. You will receive patients who have completed intake assessments, diagnostic body scans, and been evaluated by our CRNPs. Your role begins where the clinical workup ends. You are the implementation expert who works to convert the patient's medical findings into a coached, structured, progressive exercise experience. Core ResponsibilitiesIn-Person Physical Assessment Conduct structured functional movement and physical capability assessments on new patients Evaluate balance and stability, movement mechanics, baseline strength, and musculoskeletal history Score and document patient performance across standardized assessment criteria Identify contraindications, movement limitations, and areas requiring clinical escalation to the CRNPs. Communicate assessment findings clearly to the clinical team to inform protocol assignment Exercise Protocol Instruction & Coaching Review the patient's assigned exercise protocol tier (based on clinical results and physical assessment findings) Instruct patients on proper execution of resistance, impact, balance, and core exercises within their prescribed tier Coach movement quality with precision — form, load, tempo, and progression matter clinically, not just athletically Educate patients on the physiological rationale behind their program .program. Advance patients through protocol progressions within clinically defined parameters; escalate load change requests to the

CRNP Equipment Calibration:

• Prepare, calibrate, and maintain metabolic cart analyzers, heart rate monitors, and testing modalities.

Test Administration:

Fit clients with masks/headgear, apply ECG electrodes if indicated, and run incremental graded exercise protocols to exhaustion.

Physiological Monitoring:

Continuously track heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, rating of perceived exertion (RPE), and expired gas exchange (VO₂, VCO₂, RER) throughout the test and recovery.

Data Analysis & Reporting:

Interpret peak oxygen uptake, ventilatory thresholds, and cardiorespiratory data to write comprehensive performance or clinical reports.

Prescription & Education:

Translate test results into personalized training zones, cardiovascular conditioning programs, or rehabilitation paths. Diagnostic test interpretation and program prescription are the CRNP's domain Not a general wellness or group fitness position. Every patient interaction is individualized and documented. The CRNP-led clinic focuses exclusively on women's health. Our patient population is motivated, health-conscious, and looking for a clinical partner to develop their personal health journey. King Health is launching new programs focused on physical strength and wellness where each patient receives a medically supervised exercise and lifestyle plan tailored to their specific results. The successful candidate will be integral to supporting our patient achieve their goals by: assessing where the patient is, coaching them through their protocols, and keeping them progressing over time. This is not a high-volume, revolving-door practice.

Pay:

$35.00 - $45.00 per hour Expected hours: 16.0 - 24.0 per week
