Posture Coach at Egoscue of Philadelphia Egoscue of Philadelphia helps people reduce chronic pain and restore function through personalized posture therapy and corrective exercise. Using the Egoscue Method, we guide clients through customized exercise sequences that improve alignment and restore natural movement. Our clients include people living with chronic pain, active adults, kids, athletes, and anyone who wants to move better and stay healthy long term. Job Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments focusing on posture, movement patterns, and body mechanics to identify areas of imbalance or dysfunction Develop and implement customized Egoscue-based exercise programs that promote optimal alignment and pain relief Work one-on-one with clients to guide them through individualized posture therapy sessions Guide clients through gentle, corrective exercises designed to improve alignment and function Educate clients on posture and body mechanics so they better understand their pain and movement patterns Follow up with clients between sessions to answer questions, support their progress, and assist with scheduling Track client progress and communicate updates with the clinic team Provide coaching to motivate clients, address concerns, and foster active participation in their recovery journey Training & Certification No prior Egoscue experience needed. Not certified yet? We invest in our practitioners and cover half the cost of your Egoscue certification. Who we're looking for A background in movement or bodywork: personal training, massage therapy, Pilates, yoga, physical therapy assistant, athletic training or similar Patient, warm and a great listener; our clients are often in pain and frustrated Strong observation skills and attention to detail A passion for posture, movement and biomechanics Eager to learn and master a specialized method Professional, reliable and dependable Compensation Note This is an independent contractor role.
