This is a hands-on, client-facing role combining recovery technology, assisted stretching, mobility coaching, small-group classes, and client care. Our Recovery Specialists help clients determine which services best support their goals and guide them through an ongoing recovery plan—from athletic performance and injury prevention to mobility, wellness, and return to activity. You'll work one-on-one with clients, lead small-group classes, operate recovery technologies, educate clients about their options, and help create the welcoming community CrossFunction is known for. We provide training in our recovery technologies, assisted stretching protocols, class formats, systems, and CrossFunction standards of care. Evening and weekend availability is required. What You'll Do Provide one-on-one assisted stretching and mobility sessions based on each client's goals, activity level, mobility limitations, and recovery needs. Teach small-group stretching, mobility, and recovery classes, providing appropriate modifications for different ability and mobility levels. Training in CrossFunction class formats is provided. Guide clients through recovery services including whole-body cryotherapy, compression therapy, infrared sauna, red light therapy, and other recovery technologies. Develop a thorough understanding of CrossFunction's recovery technologies, protocols, safety procedures, contraindications, and methodologies of client care. Identify client goals and recovery needs through conversation, basic movement observation, and mobility assessment within your scope of practice. Create personalized recovery and continuum-of-care recommendations to support mobility, recovery, injury prevention, athletic performance, and long-term wellness. Educate clients about recovery strategies and services so they understand what they are doing, why it is being recommended, and what appropriate next steps may be. Recommend appropriate follow-up care, including future recovery services, assisted stretching, classes, packages, and memberships based on the client's individual needs. Document relevant client sessions, observations, and recommendations to support continuity of care. Collaborate with Recovery Specialists, Licensed Massage Therapists, and other CrossFunction team members to create a cohesive client experience. Build relationships and community. Learn our clients, understand their goals, celebrate their progress, and help create an environment where people genuinely want to return. Support front desk operations, including welcoming clients, checking clients in and out, answering phones, scheduling, assisting with forms, and helping clients understand packages and membership options. Maintain high standards for safety, cleanliness, and presentation, including sanitation of equipment and treatment areas, basic equipment checks, and opening and closing responsibilities. Represent CrossFunction at off-site sports, fitness, health, corporate wellness, and community events. Contribute to social media content, community outreach, and marketing efforts as needed. Participate in ongoing professional development in assisted stretching, mobility, corrective exercise, recovery technology, and client care.
