Job Description:
Work Hours/Shift:
Monday through Thursday with flexible start time either 6:30 or 7:00 am. Performs fitness evaluations, including cardiovascular tests, strength assessments, body composition analysis, functional movement assessments for new members. Monitors the exercise floor and assists members as needed. Oversees Exercise Is Medicine Program, to include teaching classes, managing physician referrals and data collection. Performs re-assessments on members to track progress and collect data. Collaborates with healthcare providers, including Physical Therapists and Physicians, to provide comprehensive care for patients. Delivers speaking engagements and teaches exercise classes both on-site and in the community. Assists in creating and delivering member engagement activities and retention programs. Maintains cleanliness of the exercise floor and oversees the maintenance of equipment. Other duties as assigned. Conducts fitness consultations and equipment orientations to help new members achieve their fitness goals.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Comprehensive knowledge of general exercise physiology theory and practices [Required]
  • Customer service skills with the ability to handle complex Customer service issues [Required]
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and have good comprehension of conversational English [Required]
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office [Required]
Education:
  • Bachelor's [Required]
