Schedule Details:

Staff will work Monday-Friday; typically, 8am-4:30pm or 8:30am-5pm. Staff will also be included on weekend and holiday rotations. This consists of working 1 weekend a month and 1-2 holidays a year. Weekend and Holiday shifts are scheduled 7am-3:30pm.

Shift locations worked will be primarily for Waukesha Memorial Hospital or the Heart & Vascular Center at ProHealth Care, with rotation to Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital, Mukwonago and Brookfield clinics when needed. Full Time /

What You Will Do:

The Exercise Specialist assists in the care of the cardiac patient in multiple modalities. Provides all patient care in the Cardiovascular department, where appropriate. Performs graded exercise evaluations, place/educate patients on cardiac monitors, perform ekgs, monitor/identify EKG rhythms, and provide lifestyle modification and education, where appropriate.

What You Will Need:

Bachelors in Fitness/Sports Studies Required. Bachelor of Science in one of the following areas:

Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Health Human Performance & Recreation, Exercise Physiology Minimum License:

BLS (CPR), ACLS Exercise Specialist degree, must have ACSM and ACLS within 1 year of hire. Previous internship in Cardiovascular Diagnostics/Cardiac Rehab Program #
