Job Title:
Adult/Adolescent Outpatient Mental Health Therapist Location:

Transparent Psychotherapy is a LGBTQ-affirming mental health practice dedicated to providing inclusive, evidence-based care for adults and adolescents. Our mission is to create a safe and open space for all, especially those in the LGBTQ community, to explore their mental health needs with transparency and support.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate Mental Health Therapist with a strong commitment to serving LGBTQ adults. In this role, you'll provide outpatient therapy, helping clients navigate emotional and psychological challenges through personalized, evidence-based approaches.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide individual therapy for adult clients, with a focus on LGBTQ-affirming care. Develop and implement tailored treatment plans using modalities like CBT, DBT, and mindfulness. Maintain accurate client documentation and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field. Licensure as LPC, LMFT, LCSW, or equivalent (or eligibility). Experience with LGBTQ clients and adolescents is highly preferred.
Skills:
LGBTQ-Affirming Care Expertise:
In-depth knowledge and experience in providing inclusive, affirming therapy to LGBTQ individuals and communities.
Evidence-Based Therapeutic Techniques:
Proficient in utilizing various modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness practices.
Client-Centered Approach:
Ability to create a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel supported and empowered in their therapeutic journey.
Cultural Competency:
Awareness and sensitivity to diverse backgrounds, including gender identity, sexual orientation, race, and socioeconomic status.
Strong Communication Skills:
Ability to effectively engage and collaborate with clients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
Ethical Practice and Confidentiality:
Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality, adhering to ethical guidelines, and following legal regulations in mental health.
Time Management and Organization:
Efficiently manage client caseload, documentation, and treatment plans while meeting deadlines and maintaining high standards of care.
Crisis Intervention Skills:
Ability to assess and respond to clients in crisis with appropriate interventions and referrals.
