We also prioritize caregiver education to empower families and caregivers within the individual's circle of care. Overview We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented ABA Assessor to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments, and support clients with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorders. You will work along side a collaborative team to support the client and ensure quality services are being provided. Your expertise will help shape effective behavior intervention strategies that foster meaningful progress and improve quality of life for the individuals we serve. Responsibilities Conduct ABA assessments (PEAK, Denver Model, Essentials for Living, ABLLS, VBMAPP, etc.) and functional behavior assessments (FBA) to identify underlying causes of behaviors initially and then every 6 months. Work collaboratively with the ABA Supervisor and ABA Student and/or RBT thoroughly assessing the client and collecting the data accurately to develop a comprehensive plan. Maintain accurate medical documentation, client records, and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for confidentiality. Skills Experience working with children and individuals with disabilities, especially those on the autism spectrum or with neurodevelopmental disorders. Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), functional assessments, and behavioral health practices. Proficiency in data collection techniques and medical terminology relevant to behavioral health. Ability to work independently and as a team to perform behavioral health assessments with a variety of ABA assessments (VBMAPP, ABLLS, Denver Model, PEAK, Essentials for Living, etc.), including Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA). Excellent client communication skills to explain assessment results and treatment plans clearly to families and team members. If needed provide additional in person training. Experience working in home-based settings or clinic settings is highly desirable. Familiarity with medical records management, HIPAA compliance, and documentation standards for healthcare providers.
