Trace Abounds Counseling is a nonprofit mental health organization serving the Baxter County and surrounding rural communities. We provide compassionate, evidence-informed counseling with a strong emphasis on hope, healing, and restoration. Our team integrates clinically sound approaches (CBT, trauma-informed care, EMDR) with a holistic, person-centered philosophy that supports the emotional, relational, and spiritual well-being of those we serve. We are committed to increasing access to care for underserved populations, including individuals facing crisis, trauma, and financial hardship. We accept major insurance providers including Blue Cross Blue Shield, Medicaid, Ambetter, and private pay clients, and also offer scholarship-based support when needed. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to accurately identify mental health conditions. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans incorporating psychotherapy modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA). Provide individual, group, family, and crisis intervention sessions to promote emotional well-being and behavioral change. Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to enhance client engagement and facilitate positive decision-making processes. Manage behavioral health cases by coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care and case management. Maintain detailed medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, including progress notes, treatment plans, and medical records using appropriate medical terminology. Deliver specialized services such as grief counseling, chronic pain counseling, addiction counseling, PTSD care, gender issues counseling, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder. Participate in clinical research initiatives to support evidence-based practices and improve service delivery. Engage in crisis management by providing immediate support during mental health emergencies and implementing behavior management strategies. Conduct intake assessments for new clients via telehealth or in-person visits to determine appropriate treatment pathways. Requirements Master's degree or higher in social work, psychology, counseling psychology or related field from an accredited institution. Valid licensure or certification as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or equivalent state credentialing. Proven experience working with children, adolescents, adults or geriatrics in outpatient or inpatient settings; hospital experience is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of mental health disorders including PTSD, autism spectrum disorder, developmental disabilities, substance use disorders, and chronic pain conditions. Proficiency in psychotherapy techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, and group therapy modalities. Familiarity with ICD coding systems (ICD-9/ICD-10) for diagnostic evaluation and medical documentation purposes. Experience delivering services via telehealth platforms with an understanding of HIPAA compliance standards. Excellent communication skills for patient assessment, case management, and collaboration within multidisciplinary teams. Ability to handle crisis situations effectively with calmness and professionalism; experience in crisis intervention is essential. Knowledge of medical terminology related to behavioral health and familiarity with CPT coding for billing purposes is preferred. Join us to make a meaningful difference in people's lives through dedicated mental health care!
