Job Description
Primary Therapist The Emergence Scottsdale Scottsdale, AZ Job Details Full-time $68,000 - $80,000 a year 19 hours ago Benefits Paid time off Professional development assistance Qualifications Master's degree Experience working with individuals with trauma-related disorders Group counseling Group therapy instruction Full Job Description Full-Time Therapist — Trauma & Nervous System Regulation Emergence | Scottsdale, AZ | Full-Time About Us Emergence is a mental health intensive outpatient program built around a simple idea: mental health symptoms often live in the body, not just the mind. We specialize in nervous system regulation for people carrying post-traumatic stress and high-functioning stress disorders — the ones who look fine on the outside while running on empty. Most programs treat the mind and assume the body is someone else's problem. Ours doesn't. We look at the physical health factors that can drive or intensify psychological symptoms — and we treat what we find there as clinically relevant information, not background noise. We work with adults experiencing post-traumatic stress, anxiety and depression, burnout in high-achieving professionals, ADHD, technology and screen addiction, and postpartum mood and anxiety disorders. The Role We're hiring a full-time therapist to carry a mixed caseload of individual clients and IOP group facilitation. You'll work alongside our clinical team on an integrated treatment plan for every client — not in a silo. What you'll do: Provide individual therapy to IOP clients using trauma-informed, body-based approaches Facilitate and co-facilitate process and psychoeducational groups Complete intake assessments, treatment planning, and progress documentation Collaborate with our psychiatric and clinical team in weekly case consultation Contribute to the ongoing development of our nervous system regulation curriculum
