Full Job Description About Us:

Arizona Institute for Autism is a leading provider of ABA therapy services for children on the Autism spectrum. Our dedicated team of skilled therapists takes pride in their work and is committed to the success of each child.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and passionate Registered Behavioral Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be committed to improving special education and mental health. As a Behavioral Technician, you will provide clinical skills instruction and behavior reduction protocols based on Applied Behavior Analysis principles to children with Autism and related developmental disabilities in an in-clinic setting. Your role will involve collecting data on programs, assisting with parent training, and supporting clinical assessments as needed. You will work in a supportive clinical environment, helping children reach their individual potential and managing various administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement 1:1 direct ABA techniques in-clinic settings. Apply treatment plans created by the supervising BCBA and collaborate with other team members. Instruct, motivate, and assist clients in learning and improving functional activities. Accurately collect and compile behavioral data on client responses to treatments. Communicate confidently and professionally with behavioral support staff, educators, and parents. Travel to multiple locations as needed throughout the workday. Work variable hours, including potential evenings and weekends.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Special Education, Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Human Behavior, or a related field. 2+ years of experience working with children in an ABA setting or special education classroom. Willingness and ability to work with clients in Scottsdale, AZ. Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, insurance, and smartphone. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Passion for serving children with special needs. Enjoyment of working in a team-based, collegial environment.
