Independent Contractor Therapist - On-Call / PRN Cornerstone Healing Center continues to grow and expand behavioral health and substance use treatment across Arizona. As our programs grow, we are building a strong network of Independent Contractor Therapists who can step in and provide clinical coverage when our regular team members are unavailable. This is an on-call, as-needed contractor position designed specifically to provide coverage for PTO, sick time, leaves of absence, open position, unexpected staffing needs, and other temporary clinical coverage needs. This is an in-person position. There is no guaranteed schedule. Contractors will be contacted as coverage opportunities become available and may accept assignments based on their availability.

Position Summary:

As an Independent Contractor Therapist, you'll step into an established treatment environment and help maintain continuity of care for our clients.

Responsibilities may include:

Provide individual and group therapy to clients receiving behavioral health and substance use disorder treatment Provide temporary coverage of an existing therapist caseload Conduct behavioral health assessments, screenings, and re-evaluations as assigned Develop, review, and update individualized treatment plans using

treatment planning Complete suicide risk evaluations, safety planning, crisis intervention, and de-escalation when indicated Facilitate process groups, caseload groups, and other assigned therapeutic programming Complete timely and accurate progress notes, treatment plans, case reviews, discharge plans, and other required clinical documentation Provide case management and family communication as appropriate to the assignment Support discharge and aftercare planning Monitor client progress and treatment outcomes Collaborate with clinical, medical, admissions, case management, and program teams to support continuity of care Respond appropriately to behavioral emergencies and critical incidents Maintain professional and ethical boundaries and protect client confidentiality Follow Cornerstone Healing Center policies, clinical standards, and documentation requirements

Education and Experience:

21 years or older; Master's Degree

REQUIRED

Licensed in AZ in a field related to Behavioral Health, this includes: LPC, LAC, LCSW, LMSW, LMFT, or LAMFT Experience working with clients with substance use disorders and / or co-occurring mental health conditions strongly preferred Knowledge of recovery models, including 12-Step Recovery Ability to quickly acclimate to an established caseload, treatment team, and clinical environment Ability to maintain appropriate professional boundaries and confidentiality Adhere to the Cornerstone Healing Center code of ethics This Opportunity May Be a
