We focus on treating various conditions, including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Work Environment This position is entirely remote, allowing for flexibility and comfort while delivering essential mental health services through telehealth. The practice is structured to facilitate easy access for clients, while our collaborative team model ensures that each therapist has adequate support, resources, and an environment conducive to professional growth. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories, mental health statuses, and psychosocial needs. Design and implement individualized treatment plans that promote trauma recovery, resilience, and holistic well-being. Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) in one-on-one and group sessions. Facilitate transformative individual and group therapy sessions aimed at assisting patients in processing their trauma, developing essential coping strategies, and fostering emotional healing. Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary approach is taken for integrated patient care. Provide immediate crisis intervention and emotional support during trauma-related emergencies or heightened distress situations. Educate patients and their families regarding trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and resources available to support their healing journeys. Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in alignment with ethical and legal standards. Engage in regular case consultations, team meetings, and continuing education opportunities with a focus on trauma-informed care practices. Stay current with the latest research in trauma therapy, ensuring therapeutic practices align with evidenced best practices. Patient Population / Client Focus Our primary focus is on individuals affected by trauma, including those with PTSD and dissociative disorders. We cater to diverse populations and encourage sensitivity to cultural, social, and individual differences, which are vital for effective treatment and patient trust. You will work closely with clients of various backgrounds and experiences, providing tailored, compassionate care. Qualifications A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution is required. Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Arizona. Proficient understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with an empathetic, non-judgmental approach. Ability to offer calm and composed support in high-stress scenarios. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms. Proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Preferred Experience A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in providing mental health counseling is preferred. Experience in delivering evidence-based trauma-focused therapies is highly advantageous. Strong knowledge of resilience-building approaches and contemporary trauma treatment methodologies. Compensation and Benefits The annual salary for this position ranges from
USD 90,000
to 110,000, dependent on qualifications and experience.
