Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Health Professional to join our team. This role is essential in providing support and therapeutic services to individuals facing mental health challenges. The Behavioral Health Professional will work collaboratively with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that address their unique needs. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health status and needs. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients. Provide individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices. Utilize art therapy techniques to facilitate self-expression and healing among clients. Offer counseling on gender issues, ensuring a supportive environment for all clients. Educate clients about psychopharmacology and the role of medication in their treatment. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for clients. Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities. Requirements A degree in psychology, social work, or a related field is required. Previous experience in behavioral health or mental health counseling is preferred. Knowledge of art therapy techniques is highly desirable. Familiarity with psychopharmacology principles is beneficial. Experience or training in gender issues counseling is a plus. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective client interaction. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team-oriented environment.
